About Us

Commit 250 is a community of people dedicated to improving their health. It was launched in May 2025 as a tool to help Americans take on the health crisis head on.

Today a collaborative of several motivated, health conscious, Americans are contributing to the cause. We cannot do this alone.

Aaron Gilliland

Realizing an opportunity with the upcoming 250th birthday of our nation that would help motivate other patriotic Americans to take charge of their health, Aaron put together a concept that we hope can grow into a movement.

Aaron is a Marine Corps veteran, works as a software engineer, and is a man of faith. He and his wife and two children live in Papillion, Nebraska. They love spending time together, watching movies, playing sports, hiking, and camping.

Aaron struggled with his health for many years. His health becoming a major issue during 2020-2021. Depression and anxiety were overwhelming as our nation faced tremendous challenges. Through that time of challenge and loss, through faith and grit he found his way through. Now he is hoping to share what he has learned to help confront the US Health Crisis head on.

I'm certainly no one special and would never have thought I would be doing something like this. I saw something so obvious that could help motivate other patriotic Americans to make positive changes. There are not words to express my gratitude to those that have jumped into this challenge with me. Thank you to all those grinding to make this happen behind the scenes.

Jordan Wilcox

Jordan is a lead Software Engineer on the project. When Aaron approached Jordan with the idea for Commit 250, he was immediately on board. The belief that improving our individual health is a patriotic duty deeply resonated with him.

Like many, Jordan’s journey with health has been a rollercoaster. As a college athlete, he was in excellent physical and mental shape, but over the years, his health has fluctuated. One of his most difficult seasons came in 2014, when a sudden panic attack sent him to the emergency room. For the next year, he battled severe anxiety and experienced multiple panic attacks daily. Through a great deal of faith, prayer, and professional help, Jordan learned to manage and eventually overcome his anxiety. He hopes that by sharing his story, others will feel encouraged to face their own health challenges with courage and hope.

Jordan is a follower of Jesus Christ, a husband, and a father of four. He and his family live in Gretna, Nebraska, where they enjoy traveling, spending time together, playing disc golf, and watching or playing just about any sport.
