Part-Time Social Media Guru

Overview

We are seeking a creative Social Media Manager for a part-time remote role to manage our social media presence. The ideal candidate will create engaging content and execute strategies to boost brand awareness and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Create and schedule content (text, images, videos) using tools like Canva.
  • Manage social media accounts using tools like SocialPilot for scheduling and analytics.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide basic reports on engagement and reach.
  • Engage with followers, responding to comments and messages to build community.
  • Stay updated on social media trends to ensure relevant and effective content.

Qualifications

  • A strong sense of humor.
  • 6+ years of being able to laugh at oneself.
  • Little to no experience on LinkedIn.
  • 1+ years of experience in social media management.
  • Proficiency in Canva (or similar design tools) and SocialPilot (or similar tools).
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and trends.

Work Environment

  • Part-time, remote position (10-20 hours/week).
  • Flexible schedule with occasional evening/weekend work for real-time engagement.
