I’ll never forget the COVID years and how brutal they were. For so many, the weight was unbearable. Depression, suicide, and addiction surged. Obesity climbed. Healthy habits crumbled as schedules and plans fell apart. Countless people lost jobs, careers, and livelihoods—losses that cut deep and linger.
When I look at the U.S. numbers for death and illness compared to other developed nations, it’s clear we’re in deep trouble. An unhealthy people can’t be a free people. I often wonder: if we’d prioritized our health as a nation, would we have seen the same panic and poor leadership decisions that caused so much damage?
After all the blame and finger-pointing, the truth hits hard: your health starts with you, not some bureaucrat in a distant office. You have to own it. We lost too many good people during those years because health wasn’t a priority. Never again. As Americans, we’re the immune system of liberty. We need you healthy.
I remember sitting in the gym, tears in my eyes, humiliated, with a compassionate trainer by my side. I was shattered after a devastating loss of a loved one. My world had collapsed, and I questioned every choice I’d made. I was spiraling. The weight of mandates and grief was crushing. That trainer took a real chance on me. Without those moments in the gym—getting out of the house, pushing my body—I wouldn’t be here today.
Some of us have faced more than anyone should endure, but in those moments, the only way forward is to focus on the thing you can change- yourself. Improve. Strive. Fight. In the end, that effort might just inspire someone else.
Thank you for your time and we appreciate your support.
